NYC School of Data 2026 is coming up! Our tenth annual community conference assembles people who care about open data, public interest technology, and service design. We’re excited to share that the preliminary schedule is now live.
Rounding out the NYC Open Data Week festival, the conference offers a full weekend of sessions and community connection, including 40+ sessions led by an incredible group of our neighbors.
With programming support from the Open Data Team at the NYC Office of Technology and Innovation, our community conference brings together city staff, technologists, designers, analysts, and neighbors to explore how open data and civic tech can strengthen New York City.
This milestone year marks a decade of NYC School of Data!!! To celebrate, we’re expanding to two days at CUNY School of Law. NYC School of Data on Saturday, March 28, followed by UnSchool of Data on Sunday, March 29, 2026.
The weekend also aligns with the 16th anniversary of International Open Data Day and the 14th anniversary of New York City’s Open Data Law, making it a meaningful moment to come together as a community.
