On Thursday, July 24, the Open Data Week and Data Through Design teams gathered with friends, collaborators, and community members for our Summer Meetup at Evil Twin Brewing NYC – DUMBO.

With cold drinks, sunny vibes, and the iconic Manhattan Bridge as our backdrop, old friends and new faces came together for an evening of conversation, connection, and community. We shared stories from this past Open Data Week, swapped ideas for the months ahead, and reconnected with familiar faces from across NYC’s public interest tech and open data ecosystem.
It was joyful, and just the right way to keep the energy going between Open Data Week, School of Data, and the exciting events to come!
