Early Bird Tickets for CityCamp NYC 2026 Are On Sale!

Early Bird registration is NOW OPEN for CityCamp NYC 2026, happening on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Hunter College in Manhattan.

Join BetaNYC and fellow New Yorkers to exchange ideas, share civic projects, and explore how technology, data, policy, and community organizing can help NYC work better for everyone!

EARLY BIRD PRICING IS LIVE: $40 until August 17, then prices go up to $50.

Ticket Opportunities

  • Early Bird General Admission, $40 (through August 17). A discounted, at-cost ticket that covers your whole day: coffee, breakfast, lunch, and snacks.
  • Solidarity Ticket, $100. Everything in general admission, plus you fund a scholarship that puts another New Yorker in the room. Pay it forward.
  • Childcare Ticket, free. We’ve contracted on-site childcare for event day. You must hold a CityCamp ticket to use it, and each child needs their own childcare registration by September 11. Spots are limited, so register early.

What is CityCamp NYC?

CityCamp NYC is a community-led unconference at the intersection of technology, civil society, government operations, data, and communities. There’s no fixed agenda and no lineup of pre-booked speakers. Attendees pitch session topics the morning of the event and build the day’s schedule together, in real time.

A New Home at Hunter College

We’re proud to host CityCamp NYC 2026 in partnership with Hunter College’s Department of Urban Policy and Planning, a department with a history rooted in human-centered planning. It’s a fitting home for a day built around New Yorkers shaping their own city.

Who Should Come?

Everyone who cares about how New York City works: residents, technologists, advocates, public servants, students, designers, journalists, organizers, and community leaders. Bring your curiosity and a session idea you’d like to talk through with the people who can help you build it.

Help Build the Day & Volunteer at CityCamp

CityCamp NYC only works because people show up to build it. We’re recruiting volunteers for setup (September 18), registration, wayfinding, session support, accessibility support, and breakdown on September 19. Stay tuned for more details in a future blog post, or get a head start on your application.

Sponsors, Want to Support the Day?

We’re looking for mission-aligned sponsors to cover conference costs like meals, coffee, childcare, and ASL interpretation. Interested? Fill out our sponsor interest form or reach out to citycamp@beta.nyc and we’ll follow up.

Our Lead Partner for CityCamp NYC is Reinvent Albany, an organization that advocates for transparent and accountable New York government. They seek to create a state government that is responsible, responsive and above board, fighting for public integrity measures and against laws and practices that increase the risk of corruption and favor the few and well-connected over the public interest.
