Andrew Kittredge (he/him)

Director – Civic Innovation Lab

Andrew holds a Master of Science in Geoinformatics from Hunter College. There, he worked as a research assistant on two NASA-funded projects to apply the science of urban heat to further environmental justice in New York City. Andrew’s commitment to civic tech was borne from his reliance on open data in his education and research work. He particularly enjoys combining his interests with teaching and has taught snowboarding, rock climbing, bike repair, and most recently GIS and statistics at Hunter College’s Department of Urban Policy & Planning, first as a tutor and then as an adjunct lecturer in the fall of 2024.

You can contact him at andrew@beta.nyc.
