Ashley Louie (she/her)

Ashley directed the Civic Innovation Lab with the mission of making information on urban issues in New York City more accessible through research and data assistance. A designer and civic technologist, Ashley worked at the intersection of public interest technology, data visualization, and communication design. She holds a Master of Science in Architecture and Urban Design from Columbia University, and previously worked at the MIT Civic Data Design Lab, where she designed and developed projects that use data analysis and visual communication for social good. With her background in urban design and architecture, Ashley is deeply interested in working to improve the public realm and the built environment.
Ashley enjoys exploring new places, getting lost in art, and crafting personal projects.
