How can we use tech to change our city and the world for the better? Join us for a documentary screening + Public Interest Tech conversation
Join us on Wednesday, November 5th at 5:00 p.m. (doors open at 4:30 p.m.) to celebrate the premiere of Roadtrip Nation’s new documentary series “Tech for Us.” Following the journey of three young adults as they explore possibilities in public interest technology, this screening will set the stage for a dynamic panel discussion featuring voices from across New York City’s public interest tech community.
Presented with CUNY 2X, BetaNYC, the CUNY PIT Lab, and the NYC PIT Pop-Up, this event invites participants to discover how New Yorkers are shaping technology for the public good. Come explore tangible entry points and resources for getting involved, and connect with the collaborations driving this growing movement—building on the film’s vision of tech for the common good, right here in our city.
BetaNYC’s Executive Director Noel Hidalgo and Chief of Staff Jazzy Smith are featured in the documentary. Noel will participate in the panel conversation after the screening.
