NYC PIT Pop Up Open House & Relaunch

The City University of New York Public Interest Technology Lab (CUNY PIT Lab), in partnership with BetaNYC and the Public Interest Technology University Network (PIT-UN), invites you to an Open House celebrating the relaunch of the NYC PIT Pop-Up after its highly successful debut in Fall 2025.

Join us to explore this unique, community-facing space where New Yorkers can engage with public interest technology, connect with tech workers, artists, students, and community partners, and experience hands-on projects that demonstrate how technology can advance equity, justice, and public benefit.

Visitors will have the opportunity to:

• Experience installations and demos featured in the Pop-Up
• Meet the creators and collaborators behind the work
• Preview upcoming programs and events planned for the year ahead

The NYC PIT Pop-Up transforms a public storefront into a living lab: an immersive environment where technology meets public imagination through interactive exhibits, co-creation activities, and civic tech engagement.
