NYC Open Data Training for Council

Since the Local Law 11 passed in 2021, the City has published over 3,000 municipal datasets on the NYC Open Data Portal. These data are critical tools for decision-making, transparency and accountability. As part of our mission to drive digital literacy and inclusion across the boroughs, we want to be sure that you know how to access and use NYC Open Data too.

You will learn fundamental terms and processes for navigating NYC Open Data as well as useful tools and applications that harness it.
