Open Data with the Office of NYC Council Speaker Adrienne Adams

BetaNYC is a nonprofit that works with open data, technology, and design to improve the lives of New Yorkers. We have collaborated with community boards, Borough Presidents and Council offices over the years to do training, build tools, and explore 311 service requests data. We are specifically exploring how request data can be used to track how well the agencies are providing services, and how groups can keep the city accountable. In this training, we will explore the data and tools you can use it to better track ongoing issues, draw insights of occurring issues, and find ways to solve issues.
